SQAS will present a Best Article Award for the first time at AAS in March 2018. Join our meeting on Saturday to find out the award winner and more about SQAS. Then join us for cocktails later that night to toast to another fabulous year in Queer Asian Studies.

And speaking of AAS, SQAS's sponsored panel at AAS in Washington, DC, in March 2018 is "Hierarchies and Rainbows in Japan and Beyond: Problematizing Western Rubrics of Homoeroticism and Homosociality," organized by Grace Ting. It features papers by Grace Ting, Sachi Schmidt-Hori, and Casey Lee. Sam Perry will serve as discussant.
